With 30 years experience,KyMaster is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality roller shells and pellet mill spare parts, including flat dies and ring dies.
Roller, also called roller shell, as a main work parts in pellet mill, it is one of the surface of roller assembly where raw materials are pressed against the die. Mounted inside the die, applied for processing various kinds of biomass and livestock and poultry pellet.
It is mainly divided into corrugated (open end and closed end) and dimple type.
1.Material Selection & Preparation
We supply roller shell made of high quality alloy steel, spring steel, and bearing steel. Dimension ranges from 50mm to 1200mm, made from premium-grade materials, high wear resistance bearing steel, alloy steel or carbon steel. (40Cr, 20Crmnti, Gcr15/60SiMn), featuring with high wearing resistance, hardness, long service life and good pelleting performance together with our dies.
Prepare blanks via casting or forging, ensure that the internal structure is dense and defect-free.
2.Precision Machining
Finishing Precision Turning: Finishing dimensions to drawing requirements to ensure tolerances (such as IT6-IT7). Drilling/keyway processing: mounting holes, lubrication holes or transmission keyways.
3.Heat treatment
Carburizing heat treatment,Quenching & tempering to achieve surface hardness (HRC 58-62). hardening depth 6-8mm, uniform hardness and long service life.
4. Quality Inspection and dimension detection
Dimensional checks: caliper, three-coordinate measurement. Hardness tests : Rockwell hardness meter. Flaw detection: Ultrasonic or magnetic powder flaw detection to check internal cracks.
