Roller, also called roller shell, as a main work parts in pellet mill, it is one of the surface of roller assembly where raw materials are pressed against the die. Mounted inside the die, applied for processing various kinds of biomass and livestock and poultry pellet.
It is mainly divided into corrugated (open end and closed end) and dimple type.
Our rollers is mainly 2 types, corrugated and dimpled, mostly used in the livestock and poultry feed pelleting and biomass pelleting industry, then the corrugated roller shell has two status on surface, closed end and open end, the surface choose is according to user's requirements, and don't have large affects on pellet mill production, the more important for lengthening the machine and spare parts life time is daily maintence,scientific production arrangement and adjusting the best space beteen the rollers and die, then the life time will be longer, with good production efficiency. Comparison of different roller type
1.Dimpled type is mainly used for cow, sheep, pig feed pellet mill, it is the even wearing of ring die, but bad coil performance.
2.Open ends corrugated is of good coil performance, and widely used in feed industry, but the wearing of die is not even.
3.Closed ends corrugated is also have good coil performance, it is mainly used for making aqua feed, because it can reduce slippage of materials when being extruded and offer resistance to plugging the die.
There is also another dimpled and corrugated mixed type.
